So, we’ve all heard the importance of ‘using our analytics’ in order to continue to grow on social media - but what does that even mean?😩
I used to spend HOURS trying to figure out how to sift through my analytics and pull meaningful insights from it.
It took me literally YEARS of experience, but I’ve finally created a simple but highly effective strategy that helps me use my insights to grow my account at an exponential rate! 👉Here’s what I do
Every Sunday night, I go through my content of the week PRIOR to that Sunday📆
For example - for this Sunday, November 5th, I’m going to be looking at content from the previous week of Oct 23-29th - this is to actually allow the content to be uploaded for at least a week so it’s had time to perform
Then I go through that content and I rank the top 5 performing posts and the worst 3 performing posts📈📉
For those 8 posts, I write out what the topic of the video is as well as the hook✍️
The point of this is to have my insights of what works / what I need to improve that I can refer back to when I’m coming up with new content ideas‼️
Now, on Monday mornings when I’m planning out my content for the week, I go through what I wrote down and I reuse the top performing hooks with other topics, and vice versa💡
Over the course of a few weeks, I’ll see trends of topics and hooks that either perform really well or not so great!👀
I continue to iterate with the high-performing topics + hooks while also testing out new ideas, and dropping ones that aren’t working⭐️
This has saved me SOOOO much time when coming up with new ideas, and I feel like I’ll never run out of things to say!🎉
Plus, since I’m using things that I KNOW work, my engagement has literally tripled!🤯 👉Here’s the template

4.5k views: Talking head green screen tutorial "if you're a content creator and you want to make money, you're probably over complicating it" (gives $3 guide example)
4.4k views: Talking head green screen tutorial "as a content creator, one of the most common questions I'm asked is the exact steps on how to make and sell a guide"
2.9k views: Short-form trend storytelling tutorial "if you're seeing this it's because you need to take a break from social media"
As you can see, now I have a full breakdown of my top-performing as well as worst-performing content along with the type of video it is and the hook/topic of the video. I can now easily refer to this when I am ideating new content ideas and iterating week after week to ensure my content performance just gets better and better!
